ATHUMI CALUS

IGT Lazio Red 2015

Athumi Calus is vinified from the Sangiovese and Petit Verdot grape varieties grown on terrains of volcanic origin.
The designation Athumi Calus—the Etruscan words for Nobility and Excellent—are a testament to the high quality of this wine, thanks also to the long ageing period, 20 months in new oak barrels.
There is a surprising mix of varietal aromas on the nose, red berries with spices and balsamic notes
It is a well structured wine with a pleasing and persistent finish.
